Love this place! We go here quite often for lunch. They have a large variety to choose from on the menu, and they always have a few daily specials as well. Their chicken salad (sandwich or on a bed of lettuce) is excellent, and if you get the salad, order the house homemade Italian dressing. It's very good! I have liked everything I have ordered so far, but I keep going back to the chicken salad. Also they will bring sliced garlic dill pickles to the table if you ask. They are great! We tend to go with about 6 to 8 people, and like that we can find tables already set up to accommodate groups of our size.

This place reminds me of my childhood in Brooklyn, except the staff is extremely polite. The Reuben was fantastic and the potato salad tastes homemade. It's a bit tucked away but it's downtown Tampa's best kept secret. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You won't regret it.

My lunch date bailed on me today, so I called in an order for a Corned Beef grinder, on Rye. I have to say, i was very impressed with the amount of meat on the Sandwich, definitely left full, and the slaw on there was fantastic, a little sweet, but it paired with the rye so well. The little girl behind the counter was super nice and handled the transaction very well. I will eat here again for sure!
